You, a dark fantasy knight-type, roll around a series of Soulsian landscapes in a giant ball—reminiscent, of course, of Sega’s beloved Super Monkey Ball series. This is a brilliant concept in part because every popular game setting should have its own Monkey Ballequivalent, but also because it sounds genuinely well thought out. From Marble Souls’ Steam description:
Bringing back lost souls allows you to level up a wide range of stats that change how your character sprints, jumps and rolls, allowing you to create ridiculous builds and break out in unintended ways. Unlocking new paths is as much about exploring and opening doors as it is about your willingness to experiment and take risks.
Mapping out your surroundings, collecting useful equipment and learning the ins and outs of your Marble are not easy but MARBLE SOULS is more about exploration and experimentation than rage-inducing progression loss.
I might be more on Team Luke than Team Chris when it comes to Soulslikes, but I will absolutely check this out when it rolls onto Steam later in 2026.
Dark Souls, Demon’s Souls, Elden Ring, Sekrio, Bloodborne, AC6 and more. I have been thinking about farming for weeks now.
