Va. (WDBJ) – Big Lick Comic Con returns to the Berglund Center this weekend, joined by a slate of live music events and free festivals across the region
Comic book collectors, movie fans and cosplay enthusiasts can head to the Berglund Center in Roanoke on Saturday and Sunday for Big Lick Comic Con. The two-day event features guests, artists, cosplay, gaming vendors, celebrity meet and greets and more. Single-day tickets start at around $30.

The All American Music Festival takes place Friday at Elmwood Park Amphitheater, with gates opening at 4 p.m. Headliners include Pluto, VIC, Birgundi Baker and more. General admission tickets are $75.

Hanson performs Friday night at 9 p.m. at The Pantheon at Caesars Virginia in Danville. The pop rock band’s catalog includes hits such as “MMMBop” and “Where’s the Love.” Tickets start at around $34.

Touch-A-Truck celebrates its 15th anniversary Saturday at Green Hill Park in Salem, running from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Attendees can explore vehicles including fire trucks, school buses, ambulances and tractors. Admission is free.

Blacksburg’s Steppin’ Out Festival runs Friday and Saturday in downtown Blacksburg, from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. both days. The event features more than 150 craft and artisan vendors, food and three stages of live music. Admission is free.
