“His & Hers” and “War Machine” have emerged as Netflix’s most-watched titles for the first half of 2026, according to the streamer’s bi-annual engagement report <a href="https://comicvibe.com/apple-tv-sets-release-date-for-stillwaters-fifth-season/” title=”Apple TV sets release date for Stillwater’s fifth season”>released Thursday.
Limited mystery series “His & Hers,” which debuted on Jan. 8, was the most-watched TV show from January to June 2026 with 104 million views, outpacing “Bridgerton” Season 4, which tallied 100.2 million views within the same time frame. Notably, “His & Hers” and “Bridgerton” Season 4 were the only TV titles to reach over 100 million views during the six-month period.
“War Machine” was the most-watched film for the first half of the year with 146.9 million views. While only two TV series surpassed 100 million views, six movies surpassed the milestone, including “The Rip” with 136.1 million views, “Swapped” with 130.8 million views, “KPop Demon Hunters” with 130.4 million views, “Apex” with 129 million views and “Thrash” with 100 million views.
Harlan Coben’s “I Will Find You” took the No. 3 spot on the TV list with 63.9 million views, an impressive feat for only debuting less than two weeks before the cut off for the viewership list. “I Will Find You” is still growing into July, with viewership for the week of July 6 seeing the limited series score 11.5 million views.
Also impressive was the residual viewership for “Stranger Things 5,” which dropped its series finale on Dec. 31, 2025, the day before the interval started. From January through June, “Stranger Things 5” tallied 55.6 million views, landing as the No. 4 TV show during the first half of the year.
Other TV highlights include limited series “Run Away” and Korean drama “Teach You a Lesson” with 50.3 million views and 48.2 million views, respectively, while “One Piece” Season 2 scored 47.3 million views, “Man on Fire” tallied 40.4 million views and “Ms. Rachel” gathered 37.3 million views.
“The Night Agent” Season 3, which was announced in May to end with its upcoming fourth season, tallied 36.1 million views, landing as the No. 10 most-watched TV series for the six-month period.
For comparison, the second half of 2025 saw “Wednesday” Season 2 and “Stranger Things 5” stand out as the top TV shows from July to December 2025 with 123.9 million views and 93.5 million views, respectively.
Notably, Netflix has opted to shift the release of its engagement report from bi-annually to annually starting in 2027.
