Cobra Grim Viper is a new character introduced to Hasbro’s GI Joe Classifieds series. Once the Range Viper proves himself adept at surviving outdoors, the Grim Viper is given this promotion in the Cobra ranks.

Grim-Viper comes in a window box with logos and artwork on all sides, an image of the Grim Viper on the side, and an action shot on the back along with a great photo of the toy.
Grim-Viper uses some of the SAW Viper’s sculpt, and the head is reused from the Range Viper. The torso, vest, hips, and hands are from the SAW Viper and has been given new arms, legs, and feet. There’s a knife holster on his back, a pistol on his right side, and a new sheath for a second, larger knife on his left hip. The vest and belt are black and brown with green camo sleeves, pants, black boots, black gloves, brown forearm pads, and the same green belt buckle as SAW Viper.
The head is reused from the Range Viper, with a skull mask and brain visible on the side of the helmet. This mask is white with black deco on the mouth, nose, and eyes, and the eyes are yellow. Also, the top of the vest has the Cobra logo just like the SAW Viper.
The backpack is also reused from the Range Viper, and is mostly black with bullet storage on the back and some red detailing. There is also a communication antenna on the top.
Includes two repurposed knives from the SAW Viper, a pistol, and a minigun that can be held in one or two hands. The minigun has a large barrel, two handles, and some decorations on the front for added detail.
Comparing him to the Alley Viper, Crimson Guard, Cobra Bat, and Thor Viper, Grim Viper, like all the different Cobra Vipers and Troopers, has his own distinct likeness and uniform. However, this new character certainly stands out in its design and decoration.
His articulation includes a ball-jointed head and neck, swivel-hinge and butterfly shoulders, swivel biceps, double-hinged elbows, swivel-hinge wrists, ab crunches, ball-jointed hips, ball-jointed hips, swivel thighs, double-hinged knees, swivel calves, and hinged and rocker ankles.
Overall, Grim Viper is a great figure and a great addition to your Cobra ranks. The attention to detail, weapons, and character design is amazing, and this is definitely a character you’ll want to buy in multiples. Get him now at BigBadToyStore!
