A panel by GamesIndustry.biz is set to occur at the upcoming Game Republic’s Investment Summit during MCM Comic Con this month. The summit is scheduled to take place from 12:30 to 5:30 PM at ExCeL London, specifically in Capital Suite Room 1. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about funding, studio sustainability, and developing original intellectual property through a series of five talks.
An Investment Panel, guided by GamesIndustry.biz editorial director Jon Hicks, is planned from 4 to 4:45 PM. Notable panelists include Lirui Ding of Transcend Fund, Nick Cavander of Creative UK, Ash Habib from Steel City Interactive, and Cassia Curran representing Curran Games Agency.

- Chris Dring of The Game Business conversing with John Romero, co-founder of id Software, and BAFTA-winning designer Brenda Romero from 1 to 1:45 PM.
- Nicholas Lovell of Split Milk Studios will lead a session titled ‘Find Your Goblins: How to use community and Kickstart to survive and thrive’ from 2 to 2:30 PM, focusing on securing funding and sustainability.
- Chris Filip, Anna Mansi, and Jordan Allwood from BFI will discuss the UK Global Screen Fund and other funding topics from 2:35 to 2:50 PM.
- From 3 to 3:30 PM, a fireside dialogue with Eloise Singer, CEO of Singer Studios, moderated by Helen Johnson of UKIE, will explore strategies for unlocking capital and maintaining franchise value.
