Fortnite x Five Nights at Freddy’s confirmed for 1 October, here are all leaked skins and cosmetics

Freddy Fazbear and more animatronics are stepping into Fortnite soon.

Freddy will officially kick off Fortnite’s annual Halloween event, Fortnitemares, as Epic Games has confirmed the highly anticipated collaboration with Scott Cawthon’s Five Nights at Freddy’s (FNaF), arriving on Thursday, 1 October.

It is perhaps one of the most requested crossovers in Fortnite history, and the reception has strongly reflected that. The official announcement became the account’s most-liked gaming collaboration tweet in history just nine hours after its release, surpassing the Dragon Ball collaboration reveal. The announcement also overtook the wildly popular Dead by Daylight x FNaF reveal from May 2025.

The confirmation of Five Nights at Freddy’s in Fortnite has now backed several previous leaks, and it’s easy to see why fans have been so excited for the crossover. The original 2014 Five Nights at Freddy’s game became an unexpected hit as it took off alongside the booming content creation scene. Since then, the franchise has grown to more than 12 mainline games and spin-offs, with a sequel to its 2023 movie adaptation also released in 2025.

Despite its massive popularity, FNaF has been fairly selective with gaming collaborations, with Dead by Daylight marking its first major crossover last year. Now, its iconic animatronics is finally stepping into Fortnite, giving fans of both games plenty to look forward to.

What is in the Fortnite x Five Nights at Freddy’s crossover?

In the official trailer, players step into Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria and traverse familiar locations from the original game. We first see the animatronics Freddy, Chica and Bonnie, followed by the silhouette of Foxy, likely confirming the arrival of all four original animatronics in Fortnite.

According to Epic Games partner, HYPEX, the Fortnite x FNaF collaboration will feature skins for the four animatronics, including a Withered style for each. There will also be cosmetics including Freddy Kicks and a Back Bling, Chica and Bonnie Back Blings, various instrument cosmetics and emotes. The Living Tombstone song is also teased.

The leak further claims that there will be gameplay features related to FNaF, including the ability to transform into FNaF bosses, the introduction of an FNaF POI featuring jumpscares, and security camera feeds within the POI.

More teased for Fortnitemares

Halloween is looking stacked for Fortnite this year, with the event expected to run for a full month and leaked and rumoured collaborations coming from all corners of spooky town.

99 Nights in the Forest is one of the confirmed horror-themed collaborations that could join the Fortnitemares lineup.

Leaks have also alluded to crossovers involving Chucky from Child’s Play, Beetlejuice, The Purge, The Exorcist, The Goonies and the latest horror film hit, Obsession.
