Fortnite Treasure Hour
details
As per the announcement made by Epic Games, the following are the main highlights of the Fortnite Treasure Hour:
- A$AP Rocket Launcher: A weapon named after the A$AP Rocky collaboration. Epic’s earlier announcement said everyone would drop with a Shock Rocket, so the two may be the same item, but Epic hasn’t confirmed that.
- Boosted Fortune Sprites
: Fortune Sprites will spawn more often. They help you find chests, which makes them useful if you’re searching for the Pirate Shop Token. - Self-Revive on the ship: You’ll find a Self-Revive waiting at the start of the match, so you have a safety net from the beginning.
Epic added that players should watch for future Saturdays, which implies Treasure Hours will become a weekly event, each with its own theme. There are going to be 2 two-hour sessions:
- Session 1: 2 PM to 4 PM ET
- Session 2: 9 PM to 11 PM ET
Both sessions have the same boosts, and the second session is a handy backup if you miss the first.

Will the Pirate Shop Token get a boost?
Epic hasn’t said so. The announcement mentions boosted Fortune Sprites but not token drop rates. Since Fortune Sprites reveal nearby chests, they should make it easier to find Treasure Hunt Chests, which is where the token can drop. That’s an indirect benefit rather than a confirmed buff. This was all you needed to know about the Fortnite Treasure Hours.
