Creator Matt Kindt’s Flux House imprint has quickly developed into one of the most exciting new publishing initiatives in the comic book world, and it’s only getting bigger. IGN can exclusively reveal the first details about Flux House Presents, a new anthology series designed to coexist with ongoing titles like Mind MGMT: New & Improved and Fort Psycho.

Check out the slideshow gallery below for a closer look at Flux House Presents #1:

Flux House Presents is a quarterly anthology series intended to release in between new arcs of Mind MGMT: New & Improved. The first issue features three new stories from creators like Brian Hurtt, David Lapham, Alison Sampson, and Ella Kindt.

Here’s the official summary of Flux House Presents #1:

First: Enter the age of wonder and survival in the double-sized first chapter of new two-part tale, “SPARK,” as a young woman and her hunter-gatherer community set out to withstand the change of seasons and, with it, harness newfound tools to stave death off for one more cycle of the stars . . . Then: Kindt and Lapham present the key to “ROOM 101”—a seemingly derelict motel room that also possesses endless doorways to the crossroads of all time and space. And for the gargantuan finale: A brand-new tale of shrapnel and stamina, exploding out of the pages of FORT PSYCHO—Kindt and Hurtt’s mayhem-infused, super-spy epic.

“I really miss the weird anthology. From the classic DHP to the one-man show of Eightball, Negative Burn and Taboo,” said Kindt in a statement. “I want to channel that weird unexpected fun on every page with pulp and horror and sci-fi. I want to bring back short form comics — where even a 2-page story can change your life. And give creators a chance to play and experiment.”

Flux House Presents #1 will be released on October 7, 2026. You can preorder a copy at your local comic shop.

Fans attending SDCC next week can get a taste of what’s to come at the “Inside FLUX HOUSE with Matt Kindt and Brian Hurtt” panel. The panel will be held on Saturday, June 25th at 1 pm PT in Room 5AB.

SDCC 2026 will be held from Wednesday, July 22 through Sunday, July 26. For more on what to expect from the show, check out Funko’s exclusive Invincible Pop! figures and Jazware’s exclusive collectibles.
