Fate/kaleid liner PRISMA ILLYA FINALE will air on television in 2027 as the concluding installment of the Prisma Illya anime series. The production is a spin off starring Illya, a character from Fate/stay night. The second teaser visual was unveiled alongside details about the returning staff and cast.
New Teaser Visual and Returning Production Team
The second teaser visual, newly illustrated by character designer Kazuya Hirata, features Illya and Miyu holding their magical sticks and staring straight ahead. Chloe smiles gently behind them as light streams through the darkened sky, creating an image filled with intriguing implications.
The main production team from the previous film, Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya: Licht Nameless Girl, will return. Shin Onuma serves as director, with Ken Takahashi as series director. Kenji Inoue and Hazuki Minase are handling the scripts, while Kazuya Hirata is responsible for character design. Animation production is being handled by SILVER LINK.
The returning cast includes Mai Kadowaki as Illyasviel von Einzbern, Kaori Nazuka as Miyu Edelfelt, Chiwa Saito as Chloe von Einzbern, Sumire Morohoshi as Pandora, Natsuki Hanae as Julian Ainsworth, and Katsuyuki Konishi as Darius Ainsworth.

“It has been quite some time since I last spoke to everyone. However, that does not mean we have simply been sitting around and waiting.
“This will be a TV series. There were also discussions about making it a theatrical film, but we proposed producing it as a TV series so that we could tell the story through to the very end. Thankfully, that proposal was readily accepted.
“As the title indicates, this is the finale. We have also been given all the runtime we need to fully express the story, so we are currently working hard to deliver every part of what makes this series so compelling.
“There are also elements of the original manga that we hope to expand upon in the anime. We are working on them with supervision and assistance from Hiroyama sensei. Please look forward to it.”

Following their fierce battle against the Ainsworths, Illya and her friends finally uncover the truth about the nameless girl, Pandora.
Julian attempts to open Pandora’s Box, known as Pithos, to grant the girl the salvation of death. Erika has suffered through an eternity and wishes only for everything to end. Illya remains determined to realize her ideal, or selfish wish, in which everyone can be saved, and she seemingly succeeds in breaking the cycle of their tragic destiny.
However, after completing the concept replacement, Darius takes control of Julian and continues pursuing the Ainsworth family’s long held ambition of saving humanity. Pithos is opened, unleashing calamities that threaten to consume the entire world.
“I finally understand. I am certain that you are the one person I can never come to understand.”
To sever the chain of cause and effect binding a world nearing its end, Illya, Miyu, and Chloe confront Darius. The magical girls’ final battle is about to begin.
