Minn. (Northern News Now) – A pop culture and tabletop gaming convention drew thousands of fans to Duluth this weekend to celebrate fandoms and media of all kinds
Excalibur Con kicked off the weekend at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center with cosplayers, vendors, gaming, handmade art and more.
The event provided a way for members of the fandom community to come together through costumes, toys, trading cards, games and art.
Fans had the opportunity to attend panels featuring talent discussing various media forms and genres.
“It’s a ton of people who are passionate who want to share what they’re passionate about, so learning about different pieces of media, different fandoms, different organizations and nonprofits, it’s a great place to connect,” said Steph Delacour, a featured cosplayer.
Vendors, panels and special guests are scheduled to continue through Sunday.
