Fans of the “Diablo” video game franchise will be able to step into the dark world of Sanctuary this Halloween season when Cedar Point debuts a new haunted maze inspired by the series.

“DIABLO: The Infernal Path” will premiere during Cedar Point’s HalloWeekends event.

The attraction is designed exclusively for Cedar Point and Kings Dominion in Doswell, Virginia

The maze will take guests through a fictional realm where a ritual has broken the barrier between worlds and unleashed demons and other creatures from the “Diablo” universe.

Guests will encounter characters including The Butcher, Duriel, Baal, Mephisto, Lilith and Diablo as they make their way through the attraction.

The “Diablo” franchise debuted in 1996 and has sold more than 100 million games worldwide

The maze will feature environments inspired by the game’s mythology, including settings depicting demonic corruption and fiery landscapes.

The attraction will be included with the purchase of a Haunted Attractions Pass during HalloWeekends.

Six Flags also promotes its Gold Pass as an option for guests who want unlimited admission to Cedar Point and participating Six Flags parks in the Midwest region, including Kings Island and Six Flags Great America.

Cedar Point’s HalloWeekends features Halloween-themed attractions, entertainment and haunted experiences. Operating dates and ticket information are available through the park’s website.
