Here are the comic book publisher market shares in the direct market of comic book stores as sold from the 15th of September to the 21st of September, 2026. You can find previous Bestseller Lists and Marketshare reports at these links, including for the whole month of August. With DC Comics returning to take the lion’s share, Absolute Cassandra Cain has the highest sales numbers even as DNX #1 brings in more money, by dint of a higher cover price. The top ten has six from DC Comics, three from Marvel Comics and Exquisite Corpses: Fox Mask Killer from Image Comics. Here’s how the marketshare is looking.

This is based on Point-of-Sale data from 600+ stores in the Manage Comics and Comic Shop Assistant systems, thanks to Prana Direct Market Solutions. The Prana DM data set provides access to a week’s sales data from comic book stores from Monday to Sunday and is published on Bleeding Cool the following Friday.
