Bohemia Interactive has confirmed that DayZ: Cool Edition will launch for Nintendo Switch 2 on August 20, 2026, according to the game’s Nintendo eShop listing.
DayZ: Cool Edition is a hardcore multiplayer open-world survival game set in a post-apocalyptic world. With no predefined missions or objectives, players must scavenge for rehoose how to interact with other survivors while facing infected enemies, wildlife, disease, and harsh environmental conditions
The Switch 2 version will bring the full survival sandbox experience, allowing players to build bases, craft equipment, hunt, fish, repair vehicles, and explore a dynamic world where every encounter with another player can lead to cooperation, or betrayal.
