The Mutants
During Marvel Studios’ portion of the Disney Entertainment Showcase at the Honda Center, director Jake Schreier took the stage alongside Kevin Feige to introduce members the ensemble cast for Marvel’s upcoming live-action X-Men reboot. While Feige made it clear that it was not the entire cast and that some of the actors had finalized their deals just before the panel, the official lineup includes:
- Christopher Abbott as Professor Charles Xavier
- Maya Boyd as Storm/Ororo Munroe
- Kit Connor as Cyclops/Scott Summers
- Adam Driver as Nathaniel Milbury/Mister Sinister
- Inde Navarrette as Rogue
- Sadie Sink as Jean Grey
- Samara Weaving as Emma Frost
The biggest news of the night came with the villain reveal: Oscar nominee Driver took the stage to confirm he is playing Nathaniel Milbury, better known as Mister Sinister. Driver has been rumored to be playing one of three villains in the film and the casting signals that Marvel Studios is bypassing traditional Magneto-first dynamics to dive straight into Sinister’s dark genetic experimentation.
Feige also revealed a new logo for the film which will hit theaters on May 5, 2028.
Synthezoid Mind Games

Marvel Television debuted the trailer for VisionQuest, the final chapter of the WandaVision trilogy.
The trailer follows Paul Bettany‘s White Vision attempting to reconstruct his fragmented memories and emotional identity. The footage included a heavy does of James Spader returning as Ultron—with both actors appearing face-to-face in human form inside a surreal, glitching mindscape representing Vision’s internal consciousness.
Putting Bettany and Spader in a room together as humans to unpack the philosophical trauma of creation and destruction is brilliant. VisionQuest is set to debut on D+on October 14.
