Curaçao will face off with South Korea in the quarterfinals of the international side of the 2026 Little League World Series.
South Korea, representing the Asia-Pacific region, will face Curaçao, representing the Curaçao region, in the quarterfinal round of the International Bracket of the Little League World Series at Volunteer Stadium in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. South Korea opened the Little League World Series four days ago with a 7-0 shutout win over Vancouver, from the Canada region. After dominating that first game, they matched up in the second round with Czech, the Europe-Africa representative. South Korea won the game 5-0, shutting out its second straight opponent. Hyun Been Han was the only player on the team with multiple RBIs in that win. Ha Jun Ju and Ki Hyun Jung both had single RBIs in the win as well.

Curaçao didn’t have to play in the first round of the World Series, opening their tournament in the second round against Joto Little League from Tokyo, Japan, representing the Japan region. Curaçao blew open the game quickly, winning in a shutout, 6-0. Steven Felix led the team with two RBIs, joined by teammates Shardijon De Lanoi, Zha-djir Janga, Q’Jeaume Valks, and Jordan Richards.
The winner of this game will head to the semifinals of the international bracket to take on the winner of the Baja California vs Nicaragua game on Sunday. The loser of this game will head to the elimination bracket to take on the winner of the elimination matchup between Panama and Canada/Australia, who took down Canada/Australia on Saturday. As a double-elimination bracket, each team gets two chances to advance, prior to going home.
