Streamer Warren Pandisia has filed a class-action lawsuit against the <a href="https://comicvibe.com/baja-california-vs-nicaragua-live-stream-how-to-watch-2026-little-league-baseball-world-series/" title="Baja California vs Nicaragua Live Stream: How to Watch 2026 Little League Baseball World Series”>live streaming service Twitch and its parent company, Amazon. Pandisia claims that his videos were used without his permission to train AI.

The fact that Twitch uses videos to train its AI became clear on August 13, 2026, when Twitch’s official X account announced that they had added a setting to ‘opt out of training AI content models.’ Since at least that day, Twitch videos have been used to train AI unless the user explicitly opts out.

Pandisia filed a lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, alleging that these actions constitute illegal profit-making by using users’ videos without permission.

Pandisia claims that Twitch made enormous profits by collecting users’ videos without their consent or compensation and using them to train its AI. She argues that this is nothing less than depriving users of the value of their videos and stealing their money and property, and that Twitch violated its contract and the state’s unfair competition law.

Regarding Twitch using videos to train AI, Pandisia pointed out, ‘Based on reading the terms of service, I couldn’t have imagined such a possibility.’ She said that if it had been disclosed beforehand, she would have opted out much sooner.

In addition to seeking relief through an injunction against AI training, Ms. Pandisia is also seeking damages and the return of profits.
