Comedy Circus, Crime Patrol, and Laughter Chefs producer Optimystix Entertainment India has tapped the capital markets to raise up to Rs 107.88 crore by launching its initial public offering (IPO) for public subscription on August 7.
The price band for the offer has been fixed at Rs 165-174 per share, valuing the company at Rs 405 crore.
The IPO comprises a fresh issue of 50 lakh equity shares worth Rs 87 crore, while founder and promoter Vipul D. Shah will raise Rs 20.88 crore by offloading 12 lakh shares through an offer for sale (OFS).
The one-day anchor book will open on August 6, while the public issue will remain open until August 11. The share allotment is expected to be finalised by August 12, and the company’s shares are likely to be listed on the NSE Emerge platform on August 14.
Optimystix Entertainment will be the fourth SME company to launch its public issue in the first week of August, alongside Anawil Wire & Engineering, Aegeus Technologies, and LAPL Automotive.
Half of the issue has been reserved for qualified institutional buyers (QIBs), while 35 percent has been allocated to retail investors and the remaining 15 percent to non-institutional investors (NIIs).

Incorporated in 2000, Optimystix Entertainment creates content for television, films, and digital platforms. The company has produced more than 150 television shows, including Comedy Circus, Crime Patrol, Laughter Chefs, Baalveer, Rising Star, Saas Bina Sasural, and Ladies Special. It has also produced six films, including OMG 2, The Diplomat, Double XL, and Dear Jassi, besides two web series
The company intends to utilise Rs 64.37 crore from the net fresh issue proceeds towards its working capital requirements, while the remaining funds will be used for general corporate purposes. The proceeds from the OFS will be received by the promoter.
Post issue, the promoters’ shareholding in the company will decline to 52.29 percent from 76.61 percent currently, while the public shareholding will increase to 42.06 percent. T-Series owner Super Cassettes Industries, with a 6.56 percent stake, is the largest public shareholder in Optimystix Entertainment, followed by individual investors Manisha Gupta (2.13 percent), Rahul Mahesh Agarwal (1.91 percent), and Ankit Agarwal (1.37 percent).
Optimystix reported a healthy financial performance in the recent past years. Its profit grew 39 percent to Rs 24 crore in FY26 from Rs 17.2 crore in the previous year, while revenue increased 8.5 percent to Rs 135 crore from Rs 124.4 crore during the same period.
LSI Financial Services and Nexgen Financial Solutions have been appointed as the book-running lead managers for the Optimystix Entertainment India IPO.
