Considering the cozy co-op survivalbox Aloft put forth its final early access content update this past August, it was easy to presume that its next development destination would be 1.0. Sure enough, Astrolabe has confirmed that it will make its full release sometime early n ext year — along with its launch to the PlayStation 5 console.
“It is with bellies full of butterflies that we’re excited to announce: Aloft is coming to PlayStation 5!” reads the announcement post. “This is a huge milestone for us, and we’re on cloud nine to finally share this exciting new chapter.”
As one might expect, this console release of the game will feature all five of the major content updates that have been applied over the course of its nearly two years in early access. In terms of what’s new for 1.0, the devs promise to provide those details at a later time, along with a more firm release date. For the time being, the reveal came with a new trailer to mark the occasion that can be watched below.
