    PureArts/Sandfall Interactive

“Clair Obscur: Expedition 33” is treating fans to a massive new release, a real-life collectible based on one of the most recognizable characters in the game.

Collectible maker PureArts has revealed a life-size replica of Gustave’s mechanical arm from “Clair Obscur: Expedition 33,” marking the company’s first premium piece tied to the acclaimed RPG. The arm is now available for pre-order, with shipping planned for the third quarter of 2027.

‘Clair Obscur: Expedition 33’ Arm of Gustave Revealed

PureArts describes the piece as a limited-edition, life-size recreation of the mechanical arm belonging to Gustave, one of the game’s central protagonists. Crafted in polyresin, the replica features marbled textures and gold accents meant to reflect the arm’s distinct in-game design.

The statue includes rotating combination cylinders, adding an interactive touch that mirrors how the arm functions within “Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.” It sits on a sculpted rock base covered in delicate flowers, offering a contrast to the raw power tied to Gustave’s Overcharge attack in combat.

PureArts describes the piece as a centerpiece meant to celebrate the game’s first anniversary since its original release.

The replica measures roughly 19 inches long, 9 inches tall, and 6 inches deep, weighing about 5.5 pounds once fully assembled.

PureArts has marketed it as a display-focused collectible rather than a toy, aimed squarely at longtime fans and collectors who want a tangible piece tied to one of the game’s more recognizable characters.

‘Clair Obscur’ Arm of Gustave Coming This 2027

The Arm of Gustave replica is priced at $429 and comes as a limited edition release, licensed by developer Sandfall Interactive. According to ScreenRant, each unit will be individually numbered on its base plate and paired with a matching edition certificate of authenticity, standard practice for PureArts’ premium collectible line.

PureArts has listed a shipping window of the third quarter of 2027 for the piece, meaning collectors who pre-order now will need to wait well over a year before the statue actually arrives.

Pre-orders currently require a 15 percent deposit, with the remaining balance due once the piece is ready to ship.

PureArts has also noted that images shown so far reflect a prototype, meaning the final production version could see minor adjustments before it ships to buyers.

Who Is Gustave in ‘Clair Obscur: Expedition 33’

Gustave serves as the primary protagonist of “Clair Obscur: Expedition 33,” an engineer who spent his life working to protect the city of Lumière through its defense and agricultural systems.

He is also credited with developing the technology that allows Lumina to be harnessed within the game’s world.

Having grown up under the constant threat posed by the Paintress, Gustave eventually joins Expedition 33 as one of its members, dedicating what he believes to be his final year of life toward defeating her and securing a future for Lumière’s children.

His mechanical arm, the centerpiece of PureArts’ new collectible, plays a direct role in his combat abilities throughout the game, making it a fitting choice for the studio’s first statue tied to the RPG.

Acting for a living can take you down some peculiar avenues. Consider Anne Hathaway and Jesse Eisenberg. In the 2010s, they lent their voices to the “Rio” movies as an oil and water pair of blue Spix’s macaws who fall in love. But a decade before becoming animated amorous at-lived dramedy series “Get Real.”
