Chiefs running back Kenneth Walker has been playing so well this season that it may seem as if he has special powers.
In fact, Walker would be a great subject for an anime series. That likely would make Walker happy because he is a big anime fan, as he detailed during a recent news conference.
Walker loves anime so much that he often ends his Instagram posts with an image of an anime figure. Here are two examples (scroll to the end).
“When I was young, I don’t know how old I was, I was probably 10 or younger, and I started playing Dragon Ball Z, and that’s how I first got into anime,” Walker said. “And that’s been my favorite one since. But since then, I always watch anime, and you know I watch it on an app called Crunchyroll, and it’s got all the anime on there. So that’s pretty much like my thing — after everything I post, it’s anime at the end.”
Walker is particularly fond of Demon Slayer, Attack on Titan and Jujutsu Kaisen, in addition to Dragon Ball Z.
While it’s not on Walker’s list of favorites, he is starring in a new advertisement for the Yu-Gi-Oh! trading card game.
“Dominating the fantasy leagues, whether it’s rushing for yards or choosing the right cards,” Walker wrote in a post, as he shared the commercial.
