The arrow is pointing up for Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams.

In his second season as a pro, Williams set a new franchise record in passing yards, led the team to its first division title since 2018, first playoff berth since 2020, and first postseason victory since January 2011. Since then, he has landed on the cover of the Madden NFL ’27 video game, found a spot in the top 10 of quarterback rankings stemming from an ESPN poll of league executives and scouts, and appears primed to lead the Bears to heights they haven’t seen since Jim McMahon was under center.

So … what does this mean for his card market? Well, it depends on how he plays.

Caleb Williams Card Values in Year 3: What a Leap Season Would Do to His Rookie Market

In 2025, Williams set a new Bears franchise record with 3,942 passing yards. His 27 touchdowns were a career-high and also the most for a Chicago quarterback since Jay Cutler had 28 in 2014. Williams’s 90.1 rating represents the first time a Bears quarterback had hit that mark since 2020, when Mitchell Trubisky had a 93.5 rating. If Williams continues on his current trajectory, his rookie card market could take off.

This is what the index data looks like for Caleb Williams

    (via Card Ladder)

I’m not a card trading expert, but I see a +61.61% rate of growth over the last three months, and I can see where this trend could be headed for Caleb Williams. CardLadder shares that this particular Williams 2024 Prizm rookie card (graded a Gem Mint 10) last sold for $1,499.

For what it’s worth, a comparable Drake Maye card (same set, also graded a 10) recently sold for $1,050.

I can only imagine how that number could grow. Maybe Williams can play well enough to boost his rookie card value to match Josh Allen’s latest 2018 rookie card sale, which went for $5,802.

In the end, my big takeaway here is that the arrow is pointing up for Caleb Williams on the field (and in the card market) heading into the 2026 season. So if you’re in possession of a Caleb rookie card, hold onto it because your faith could pay off in a major way.
