Blizzard Entertainment has officially announced the main event schedule and online livestream channel details for its global gaming convention, BlizzCon 2026.
BlizzCon 2026 will take place over two days on September 12 and 13 (local time) at the Anaheim Convention Center in California. Starting with the opening ceremony, the two-day event will feature major game panel sessions, a variety of programs, esports tournaments, and “Community Night,” showcasing fan creations and passion. The detailed full schedule will be revealed following the opening ceremony and can be found on the official BlizzCon website.
For domestic fans unable to attend in person, free online livestreams will be provided for major programs. Main broadcasts can be viewed with Korean commentary on Blizzard’s official YouTube channel, as well as live on Blizzard’s official channels on domestic streaming platforms SOOP and CHZZK. Schedules and broadcast channels may vary by program, with Korean broadcasts for the Overwatch World Cup airing on the Overwatch and Overwatch Esports channels on SOOP and CHZZK, respectively.
Drops will also be available for online viewers. By watching Drops-enabled broadcasts on YouTube and Twitch, viewers can earn in-game items for major titles including World of Warcraft, Diablo IV, Hearthstone, and Overwatch. StarCraft rewards will also be granted for watching broadcasts during the event period. Specific requirements, such as account linking and required watch times, vary by platform and game.
A wide variety of esports events will take place both on site and online. Featured competitions include the Overwatch World Cup, World of Warcraft’s Mythic Dungeon International (MDI) and Arena World Championship (AWC), Hearthstone’s Hearthstone Masters Tour World Championship, and the Blizzard Classic Cup.
In addition, digital bundles will be sold for fans who cannot attend in person. These packages include various in-game items for major titles such as World of Warcraft, Overwatch, Diablo IV, Diablo Immortal, and Hearthstone, while Heroes of the Storm and StarCraft II players will receive limited-time free rewards.
