Amida bunch of news coming out of Blizzcon over the weekend, two items stood out: firstly, Diablo V is coming, and in what’s probably the biggest announcement for a Blizzard game since Overwatch’s original reveal, Starcraftis getting an open-world shooter.

The world of Diablo is headed for an animated series from Blizzard Entertainment, in collaboration with Netflix. Announced at BlizzCon 2026’s opening ceremony, the project currently has no definitive title or premiere date.
