For Rhiti Tiwari, her Bigg Boss 20 journey came with plenty of highs, uncomfortable moments and lessons she says she will carry forward. After her eviction from the reality show, the actress opened up about what happened inside the house, including her controversial confrontation with Qazi Touqeer and Uditi Singh. She also revealed what her father, actor-politician Manoj Tiwari, told her after watching her stint.
Manoj Tiwari was proud of her transformation
Speaking to IANS after her eviction, Rhiti recalled her conversation with her father. According to her, Manoj did not focus only on the controversies surrounding her stint. Instead, he noticed a change in her personality.
“I talked to him, and his reaction was just like any father’s reaction. He said, ‘I am proud of you. You brought out such a transformation in yourself, which was probably inside you for a long time,’” Rhiti said.
She added that her father believed she had entered the Bigg Boss house and done what she wanted to do. The experience also gave her a chance to look at herself more closely
“He also felt that I had gone there and done whatever I wanted in that house,” she said.
Rhiti says Bigg Boss made her look at her shortcomings
The actress admitted that the show made her aware of things she would like to change about herself.
“I think every person has certain things they want to change or areas where they can do better. Going there, I realised what I can do better and what I don’t want inside me,” she said.
For Rhiti, that self-reflection appears to be one of the biggest takeaways from her time on the show. She said she entered the house with certain shortcomings and now wants to work on them.
Her mother had one simple advice
Rhiti also spoke about the advice she received from her mother before and during her Bigg Boss journey. Her mother had repeatedly reminded her not to allow emotions to take control.
“My mom has always told me, ‘Don’t let your emotions control your mind,’” Rhiti said.
Looking back at her behaviour inside the house, she acknowledged that there are things she wants to improve.
“Whatever happened to me in this house, I went there with certain shortcomings, and I will change. I will improve,” she added. “I think I will be able to show that now.”
Qazi controversy became a major talking point
Rhiti’s journey was not free of confrontation. She became involved in a major controversy during a diss task after using inappropriate and filthy language towards Qazi and Uditi.
The incident led to Qazi taking a strong stand for Uditi and confronting Rhiti over her behaviour. The matter also drew the attention of host Salman Khan, who reprimanded Rhiti and told her that her conduct during the task had crossed a line.
During the discussion, Rhiti was also reminded that her father had previously participated in Bigg Boss. Manoj Tiwari’s own stint on the show was brought up, particularly his calm conduct during his time as a contestant.
