Battlefield 6 is bringing giant battles and a whole lot of action to Xbox Game Pass on Oct. 13, which is good because a few days later, Microsoft is removing one of CNET’s best games of 2025, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. Maybe Battlefield 6 and the other games coming to the service this month will be able to fill the Clair Obscur-sized hole in my heart.
Xbox Game Pass, aCNET Editors’ Choice award pick, offers a wide selection of games you can play on yourXbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One andPC or mobile device for as little as$10 per month. With a subscription to the higher-tiered Game Pass Ultimate ($23 per month), you can access hundreds of games, including new ones the day they’re released, each month.
Here are all the games Microsoft is adding to Xbox Game Pass in the first half of October 2026.
Battlefield 6
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers can play on Oct. 13.
CNET’s David Lumb called this installment in the popular Battlefield series a “riveting shooter.” It’s full of huge multiplayer battles, close-quarters combat and loads of gunfights and explosions. While most people will gravitate towards multiplayer, there is a single-player campaign if you want a break from the online mayhem.
Valor Mortis
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers can play on Oct. 13.
In this first-person soulslike game, you’re a soldier in Napoleon’s army who dies. No worries, because you’re back from the dead with a handful of supernatural abilities that you wield in your left hand, like in the almost 20-year-old game BioShock. You’ll use these skills to battle monsters and uncover a conspiracy that could threaten all of humanity.
Bluey’s Happy Snaps
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers can play on Oct. 15.
Bluey’s Happy Snaps proves that not every game coming to Game Pass has to be full of action. You’ll unwind and explore Bluey’s world while taking photos in areas familiar to anyone who’s seen the popular children’s show – let’s be honest, this show’s also popular with adults. You can take photos on your own, or play with a partner, friend or your kid as you turn in-game moments into fun.
Other games coming to Game Pass soon
Those are a few of the games Microsoft is bringing to Game Pass in October. Here are the rest of the games you’ll see on the service soon.
