OpenCheck has raised $3 million in seed funding backed by Amber Group, according to an announcement from the company on X.

The startup is building an authentication and trust layer for the $500 billion-plus collectibles and luxury goods market. Its platform combines proprietary AI vision analysis with decentralized, onchain validation to verify items.

OpenCheck says it can cut authentication times from months to under 48 hours while keeping the process transparent and verifiable onchain. The company positions this as infrastructure for marketplaces and participants trading high-value physical assets.

The team also highlighted a “Trust to Earn” incentive model and dynamic gacha-style pools, which it claims have already produced a sustainable revenue profile and strong cash flow. Further details on valuation, round structure, and additional investors were not disclosed.
