Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 is here. The theme of this new season of Epic Games’ battle royale is video games, and Sega’s Sonic the Hedgehog himself is the main attraction of the new Battle Pass. In this article, we’ll take a look at the new outfits introduced in this season and, of course, how to get Sonic in Fortnite:
All the New Outfits in the Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 Battle Pass
The new Fortnite Battle Pass for Chapter 7 Season 4 introduces eight new outfits. Here’s the complete list:

- K1tty W1ns
- Phantom
- Grace Crowne
- Geno
- Sonic the Hedgehog
- Mali
- Wrixel
- Bastian
Both the trailer itself and the designs for the new Fortnite Season 7, Episode 4 outfits—titled “Overdrive”—make it very clear that video games are the season’s main theme. Grace Crowne is inspired by the protagonists of stealth games like Metal Gear or Splinter Cell, while Mali could easily pass as a Street Fighter character. For his part, Wrixel looks like he stepped right out of Minecraft thanks to his “cubic” design, whileBastian bears certain similarities to Link from The Legend of Zelda—a special tribute from Epic Games to this iconic franchise.

It’s worth noting that, aside from the Battle Pass outfits, new collaborations with iconic franchises and titles such as Kingdom Hearts, Pac-Man, Mega Man, Persona 5 Royal, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, 99 Nights in the Forest, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro the Dragon will be arriving in the Daily Store throughout the season. In other words: the new season of Fortnite is a true celebration of the gaming world.
How to Get Sonic in Fortnite
First, to get the Sonic outfit in Fortnite, you need to purchase the Chapter 7 Season 4 Battle Pass. There are two ways to do this: either buy it directly for 800 V-Bucks/$8.99, or become a member of the Fortnite Crew, a monthly subscription that costs $11.99 per month.
Once that’s done, there’s nothing else we need to do: luckily, Sonic the Hedgehog unlocks simply by reaching Level 1, soall you need is the Pass to get his outfit automatically. Of course, as usual,to get the rest of his items and accessories, you’ll need to level up to unlock them sequentially, including backpacks, Tails as a partner, and even an additional Super Sonic style.

It’s worth noting, however, that the Sonic in Fortnite isn’t the “real Sonic”; as revealed in the season’s prologue comic, he’s an Eggman-built automaton combined with the hedgehog’s DNA that the heroes use to reach the island, which explains why his proportions are more in line with those of the game’s other outfits. In addition, outfits for Dr. Eggman, Shadow, and Knuckles are expected to arrive later.
