Epic Games is not slowing down in bringing new events to Fortnite, with the latest celebration marking the ninth anniversary for the title.
Fortnite is well established as a behemoth in the gaming world and, just like every other year, Epic Games is celebrating with an array of free rewards to obtain in the Birthday Event.

When Does The Fortnite Birthday Event End?
The Fortnite Birthday Event kicked off on September 21 and is due to last until the start of the next big event in the game on October 1.
While all the current attention is on the ninth anniversary for Fortnite, Epic Games will switch it up in a few weeks’ time for the start of Fortnitemares on October 1.

Similar to the birthday event, Fortnitemares is an annual occasion in the title and is regarded by the community to be one of the best events on the calendar, so there’s plenty of excitement building.
Prior to that, however, there’s still plenty of time to lock in and earn the free rewards available during Fortnite’s Birthday Event.
All Fortnite Birthday Free Rewards
There are five free rewards available to obtain in the Fortnite Birthday Event, three of which are earned by ticking off special Birthday Quests.
Once completed, the Birthday Quests tally together to provide cosmetic rewards, including two Back Blings and a Pickaxe, but the remaining two rewards have a different approach to obtain.

During the event, entering a specific Lobby Hack provides the 9th Birthday Sprite Spray, while mastering 28 Sprites this season awareds the exclusive 9th Birthday Skin.
