Acamar Films expands “Bing” reach across EMEA with Disney+ deal

The SVOD agreement makes 104 episodes of the series available in 14 local languages.

Acamar Films has secured a new agreement with Disney+ to launch its award-winning preschool series “Bing” across 17 territories in EMEA, expanding the show’s international presence and advancing its strategy to establish the brand as a global evergreen property.

Following a successful initial debut on Disney+ in Italy, the SVOD agreement makes 104 episodes of the series available in 14 local languages. Subscribers across markets including the UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Spain, the Nordics, Central and Eastern Europe, Greece, Malta, and Cyprus can now access the content. The partnership was brokered with the support of Iñaki Orive and Acamar’s distribution partners at Brands & Rights 360.

“We are all grateful to have this extraordinary support from the Disney+ team in Europe. Our launch brings ‘Bing’ to a vast new audience across EMEA. We’re thrilled that many more children across Europe are now able to enjoy ‘Bing’ in their own language,”said Mikael Shields, CEO of Acamar Films and Producer of “Bing”.

Developed to support healthy early child development and emotional resilience through expert-led storytelling, “Bing” originally premiered on the BBC’s CBeebies. Produced by Acamar Films in partnership with Brown Bag Films, the series is currently licensed in 163 territories worldwide.
