    Here’s what you missed afterGlee.

More than a decade after Gleeks bid farewell to the New Directions,an upcoming reboot is ready to hit all the right notes.

“We’re happy to share,”readan Oct. 21 press releasefrom Disneysent to E! News, “that Disney+ and Hulu have placed a series order forGlee.”

The confirmation comes one month afterRyan Murphyrevealed he had finished writing up aGleescript with OG co-creatorsBrad FalchukandIan Brennan.

“We have a script,” he toldEntertainment Tonightin September. “Brad, Ian and I, who wrote all the first two seasons, have written something.”

And don’t worry, the show may be going all over the place or something, but some former cast members—which includedMatthew Morrison,Harry Shum Jr.,Lea Michele,Chris Colfer,Darren Criss,Jane Lynchand more—could be making a reappearance.

“I’ve been in touch with around 10 of the original cast members,” Murphy added. “It’s very sweet, and they all had a lot of questions, but they all were very enthusiastic about the idea.”

In fact, Michele—who starred as the overzealous Rachel Berryfor all six seasons of the musical dramedy—said she would be happy to step backup to the micif it’s the right fit.

“I loveGlee,” she told E! News last month. “I will always loveGlee. I love Ryan Murphy. It just holds such a special place in my heart for me. So, I will follow Ryan wherever he goes.”

TheScream Queensactress wasn’t the only William McKinley High School alum to say she’d support a reboot if Murphy was giving the slushie facial.

AsJenna Ushkowitz—who played Tina Cohen-Chang in the series—told E! News in October 2022, “If Ryan was doing it and the right people were involved, I’d consider it.”

AlthoughKevin McHalehad stopped believin’ moreGleewas in the cards, even he wasn’t giving a firm no to another go as Artie Abrams.

“I don’t think that would ever happen,” he admitted to E! in September 2022. “Well, you know, until Ryan Murphy says so.”

And Murphy did, indeed, say so. Looking back on his time on the series—which became a pop culture touchstone in the 2010s—McHale, 38, reflected on the cast’s deep bond.

“We all grew up together,” the actor—who was just 21 during its 2009 premiere—reflected. “We grew up doing this really insane and unique thing. It wasn’t even just shooting a TV show together. It was a TV show that became weirdly successful all over the world for different groups of people who didn’t normally have something like this on network TV.”

While fans wait for more updates on the reboot, keep reading to see all the secrets you may have missed onGlee.
