Pop Culture, Inc. to Give Away 1,000 Officially Licensed Steph Curry Trading Cards at LA Comic Con 2026

1,011 packs, all given away free online and at LA Comic Con 2026. At least 10 cards are hand-signed by Stephen Curry.

We grew up on comics and trading cards, and most cards like this end up with whoever can pay the most. We wanted this one to go to the fans, so we are giving every one of them away.”— Hayden Michael, Founder, Pop Culture, Inc.

LOS ANGELES, CA, UNITED STATES, October 19, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — On June 10, 2022, Stephen Curry scored 43 points in Boston to even the NBA Finals at two games apiece. A new officially licensed trading card turns that night into a superhero story, and it is not for sale at any price.

Pop Culture, Inc., from the team that founded LA Comic Con, and Canvas Marketing today announced the Stephen Curry Superhero Card, made exclusively for LA Comic Con 2026. There are 1,011 packs. Every one of them is being given away free, online and at the show.

    A card built for collectors
The edition comes in 10 foil variants, each individually numbered. The most common variant has 300 cards. The rarest has just 10. At least 10 cards are hand-signed by Curry and sealed into packs at random alongside the rest of the edition, so no one knows which pack holds a signature until it is opened. The run will never be reprinted. The card features original artwork by Ken Karl.

“Steph is my hero, so we put him on a card as one. Bringing it to LA Comic Con first, and giving it to fans for free, felt like the right way to start,” said Will Wade, Founder & Creative Director, Canvas Marketing.

    How to get one
The card is not for sale. Fans can enter the free giveaway now at popvault.com/curry, where at least 250 winners will be drawn randomly online. The remaining cards will be given away at the Vaulted booth (#1718) at LA Comic Con. Online winners can pick up their card at the booth or have it shipped for free. The online giveaway closes October 31, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. PT and is open to U.S. residents 18 and older.

    The first of a series
This card is the first in a series of Stephen Curry superhero trading cards that Pop Culture and Canvas Marketing intend to launch in 2027. Everyone who enters the giveaway or registers at popvault.com/curry/signup will be first in line for the 2027 collection.
