Do you want the option to be surviving in a weird world of mechanical-organic monsters on both your PC and your consoles? Once Human has got you, fam; the game is now available and free-to-play on both Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 consoles. And it’s sporting full crossplay across every platform, so no matter where you are, you can enjoy your survival antics no matter what. There are even day one perks for Game Pass subscribers on Xbox, along with specialized haptic feedback features for PS5 players. And, you know, the same gameplay that you already get.
Veterans don’t need to worry that NetEase’s Starry Studio is leaving them out to dry with this announcement, though. Indeed, “dry” is what you’re definitely not getting, as the next major update has been announced as the Isle of Abyss arriving in October. Build survival structures across islands and the ocean service, encounter huge crustaceans and mechanical behemoths, and gather resources for your floating fortress as you try to keep your head above water. But that’s for October; for now, it’s time to welcome new console players to the land.
