[Series: Stunning VRChat Worlds] A space that captures the essence of summer: “Summer Traces”

In VRChat, a wide variety of content is released day and night, from game worlds where you can play with friends to scenic worlds perfect for relaxing. In this series, we will pick out and introduce some of the most visually appealing worlds from the vast number of available worlds.

The place I’m introducing today is “Summer Traces,” a world of rural summer that evokes a strange sense of nostalgia, even though you’ve never been there.

“Traces Summer” is a world created by creator Mackerel Misogi, who develops worlds and avatars for “VRChat.” It’s a nostalgic old house facing the sea where you can relax and chill.

The first thing you notice when you enter this world is the beauty of the blue sky. In the real world these days, it would be difficult to go outside with this much sunshine, but luckily this is VRChat. It’s great that you can enjoy only the best parts of the blue sky.

On the veranda of the old house, mosquito coils shaped like watermelons and pigs are placed, giving the place a summery feel. The “center” of this world is the old house, but you can also explore the area around the building, and if you go a little further you will come to a flooded railway track and level crossing.

The reason for this situation isn’t explained, but walking along the railway tracks gives you a feeling reminiscent of “Spirited Away.” Also, the view of the old houses from the railway tracks is quite nice, so I recommend taking some good photos.

Also, the sunflowers and hydrangeas blooming throughout the world are a highlight. Just pointing your camera at the flowers makes for a beautiful picture. Not only is the modeling of the flowers themselves impressive, but the lighting created by the server’s purification ritual really enhances their beauty.

“Summer Traces” is a world where you can enjoy the atmosphere of summer without being bothered by the heat. Incidentally, this world utilizes VRChat’s Economy Creator function, and you can unlock a system to change the time of day to night in the store. If you like it, you might want to pay to experience a different version of “Summer Traces.”
