Henderson’s Level Zero Seven will host Free Comic Book Day on Saturday, May 2, inviting residents to stop by for a day centered around comics, creativity and community engagement. The event will run from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., with free comics available while supplies last.
Store owners, Kimberley and Matthew Bailey, say the promotion is something new for their shop, which does not typically focus on comic books. However, they saw it as an opportunity to introduce customers to a different form of storytelling while creating a fun, family-friendly experience.
“We did gear the comic selection more towards learning to read and intermediate readers,” said Kimberely.
“There will also be trading card freebies from brands like Pokémon, Ravensburg, Upperdeck and UVS Games.”
