A New Era of Hyundai Ownership

For years, buying a new car meant driving home in a vehicle that would stay much the same for the rest of its life. New technology arrived with the next model, not the one already sitting in your driveway.

    That’s no longer the case.

Today’s vehicles are increasingly shaped by software, and Hyundai’s vision for Software-Defined Vehicles (SDVs) is helping redefine what ownership can feel like. Rather than remaining unchanged after they leave the factory, Hyundai vehicles will continue improving through software updates, connected services, and experiences tailored to each driver.

For Hyundai drivers, that means a vehicle that grows with them. Instead of being defined on the day it’s delivered, it continues to unlock new possibilities throughout ownership, and make every journey smarter, simpler, and more rewarding.

How Software Is Transforming the Hyundai Ownership Experience

Imagine buying a car that keeps getting better, long after you drive it home.

New features arrive without a trip to the dealership. Finding destinations becomes quicker, guidance feels more intuitive, and everyday interactions with your vehicle become simpler.

Bringing Hyundai’s SDV vision to life is Pleos, Hyundai Motor Group’s next-generation mobility software platform. Through technologies such as Pleos Connect, OTA updates, and connected services, Pleos enables Hyundai vehicles to continuously evolve over time.

Five Ways Pleos Will Make Everyday Driving Better

Behind every software update is a simple goal: make every journey simpler, more connected, and more enjoyable. Here’s what that looks like in practice.

    1. No waiting for the next model

Instead of waiting for the next generation of vehicles, Hyundai drivers will be able to receive software enhancements remotely through over-the-air (OTA) updates. That means new features, improvements, and connected services can be delivered throughout the life of the vehicle, helping it to stay up to date without waiting for the next model, whether drivers are looking ahead to future versions of familiar Hyundai nameplates such as TUCSON or discovering entirely new models.

    2. Meet Pleos Connect

One of the first experiences drivers will enjoy is Pleos Connect, Hyundai Motor Group’s next-generation infotainment system. Designed to feel familiar, intuitive, and easy to use, Pleos Connect brings navigation, entertainment, vehicle settings, and connected services together in one seamless experience. Its smartphone-inspired interface makes navigation, media, and vehicle settings easier to access, making everyday interactions simpler, and more natural.

    3. Talk naturally with your Hyundai

At the heart of Pleos Connect is Gleo AI, Hyundai Motor Group’s in-vehicle AI companion.

Using natural language, drivers can interact with vehicle functions, access apps, search for destinations, and receive context-aware assistance through Gleo AI, to make every interaction feel simpler and more intuitive.

    4. Bring your favorite apps along

The Pleos App Market will give drivers access to a growing ecosystem of third-party apps, and services directly from within their Hyundai. Whether streaming music, and videos, exploring navigation services or discovering new apps along the way, drivers can enjoy more of the digital experiences they already use every day, without leaving the vehicle.

    5. A Hyundai that gets to know you

Pleos will continue to improve through software updates, and AI services that adapt to drivers’ needs.

Through driver profiles, connected services, and AI-powered experiences, Hyundai vehicles can deliver more personalized interactions over time.

More Than a Car. A Hyundai That Evolves with You.

Pleos isn’t simply about introducing new features. It’s about rethinking what it means to own a car.

Rather than remaining unchanged after purchase, future Hyundai vehicles will continue advancing through software, with the ability to unlock new capabilities, connected services, and more tailored experiences throughout ownership.

For drivers, that means investing in a vehicle designed not just for today’s journeys, but for the years ahead.

The First Hyundai Models Featuring Pleos Connect

Hyundai customers won’t have long to wait.

Pleos Connect is making its debut on Hyundai’s latest models, beginning with AZERA (the all-new GRANDEUR in Korea). The all-new ELANTRA (AVANTE in Korea), which was recently unveiled at the Busan Mobility Show, is expected to launch first in Korea in the second half of this year, bringing Pleos Connect, and Gleo AI to even more drivers. Hyundai will continue expanding the experience across additional models worldwide. As Hyundai continues its transition toward Software-Defined Vehicles, Pleos will help create a smarter, more connected, and more personalized ownership experience—one that keeps getting better with every journey.
