Webtoon’s Plans To Publish Marvel Comics In 2027 Officially Revealed, at San Diego Comic-Con
At San Diego Comic-Con, Marvel and Webtoon announced plans for three new comic book series launching in 2027 as vertical, digital-scrolling comics. Webtoon is the world’s biggest comic book publisher, and these new titles will be seen only on their platform, not Marvel Unlimited.

Deadpool becomes the target of a trap that sucks him into the chaotic WEBTOON-verse where regency drama, superhuman cage matches, post-apocalyptic wastelands, and terrifyingly well-dressed Korean teens stand between him and a way back home while exploring different genres on the platform. K-Pool serves as the villain and Red Pandapool appears as a cute animal sidekick.
Marvel already has twenty titles of their own comics cut and framed for vertical sdcrolling through Webtoon but these will be original titles, with no print announcements yet.
