The input subsystem fixes for the week include a number of AI-driven patches to address various information leaks, out-of-bounds accesses, validation fixes, and other coding issues that have turned up recently. Plus some device quirks and also adding support for a rather funky gaming controller to the common XPad Linux driver used by many different gaming controllers.

The new controller added to the XPad driver for Linux 7.2-rc7 is the Zenaim Leverless. The Zenaim Leverless looks rather unusual and is a controller optimized for fighting games.

The Zenaim Leverless released earlier this year with Microsoft Windows support and is a 15 button controller that now works on Linux. Just the new vendor/device USB IDs are needed and this Japanese controller works fine under Linux with the XPad driver.

This week’s input subsystem pull also has some quirks added to the ATKBD driver for supporting the laptop keyboards with the HONOR ZQC-P and Xiaomi Book Pro 14. Without these quirks adding deactivation fixes, the laptop keyboards do not work under Linux.

The rest of the input pull request is made up of various coding fixes for out-of-bounds issues, information leaks, validation fixes, use-after-free and initialization bugs, and other coding issues across multiple input drivers.
