Mercedes-Benz NXTNFT, owned by a famous German car brand, is teaming up with Mojito to launch an NFT series. They’re calling this new series “The Age of Technology,” and it’s part of their larger “Icons” series. The collection is the second of seven eras and has a total of 780 collectibles. The launch is scheduled for May 21 at 18:00 CET and will run until May 28.
Collector’s Discounts and Mint Passes
The cost of each NFT is 0.08 ETH. There are two discounts available to existing collectors. Collectors of previous core series such as Maschine, Mercedes-Benz NXT Icons and Mercedes-Benz NXT Eternities can enjoy a 30% discount. Superdackel holders receive 15% discount. Additionally, collectors of Maschine and Mercedes-Benz NXT Eternities will receive a new pass. These passes allow for a free mint (not including gas) or a reduced price. Passes are used up once used.
The Mercedes-Benz NXT icon celebrates the company’s design heritage. Led by Chief Design Officer Gorden Wagener, the design team created these objects that tell the story of seven eras from the present to the early days of the automobile. The first era, “The Age of Luxury,” focuses on today’s cars and their design for the digital age.
The second era, “The Age of Technology,” centers on six legendary vehicles built between 2000 and 2017.
Mojito’s role in NFT release
Mojito played a crucial role in this NFT release. It provides web3 infrastructure for Mercedes-Benz NXT. This includes blockchain integration, NFTs, and user-friendly interfaces. Mojito combines the accessibility of web2 with the game-changing qualities of web3.
Mojito provides tools such as APIs and SDKs to simplify tasks such as token creation, smart contract deployment, and automated token distribution. It also supports tiered discounts via token gate and handles customer management and reporting. In addition, it integrates WalletConnect and Metamask to make it easier for users to interact with NFTs.
First core set and future plans
The first core range of Mercedes-Benz NXT is Maschine. In this series they collaborate with renowned artist Harm van den Dorpel and art collective Fingerprints DAO. This partnership sets the bar high for future collections.
“Technology Era” is the second of seven planned eras, and there will be more exciting versions in the future. Each era is designed to showcase a different aspect of Mercedes-Benz’s rich history and design evolution. The collection offers fans and collectors a unique way to connect with the brand’s legacy through digital art.
