Webzen said on Monday it will showcase its in-development new title ‘Terbis’ at Comic Market (Comiket C108), Japan’s largest subculture event, to be held in August.
Comic Market, also known as Comiket, is Japan’s largest subculture event and is held twice a year, in the first and second halves, at Tokyo Big Sight.
Webzen will extend a streak of participating in Comic Market for five consecutive events, which it began in the first half of last year as part of its global marketing.
Earlier, Webzen posted a notice on its official community and social media services to pre-registered game members waiting for the launch. It also stated it would extend the development period to improve the game’s completeness and expressed its commitment to continue development.
The on-site Terbis booth will be decorated around a summer beach fireworks concept to reflect the season. The company is also preparing on-site events where booth visitors can receive various character goods.
In particular, a large-scale cosplay event will be held with a total of 11 well-known Korean and Japanese cosplay models taking part. Through the event, the company plans to present various character designs in cosplay, including Terbis’ main characters familiar to existing pre-registered members and newly introduced swimsuit costumes.
