- The video of YOKO KANNO SEATBELTS’ live concert “SOUVENIR OF TOKYO” held in August 2001 will be gradually released on the FlyingDog YouTube channel starting from November 22nd. DVD release of FUTURE BLUES (all five songs). The 8mm film captures the performance of Yoko Kanno and a top-notch line-up of musicians, retaining the original energy and atmosphere of the live event. Even today, 23 years later, the footage still conveys the intense excitement of the night, making it a must-see for every music fan.
- In addition, YOKO KANNO SEATBELTS has been confirmed to perform at the 2024 Montreux Jazz Festival in Japan to be held at Pia Arena MM in Yokohama from December 6th to 8th.
- Now running for more than half a century, the Montreux Jazz Festival is one of the largest and most prestigious music events in the world, bringing together performances by musicians from all genres. Its Japanese counterpart, the 2024 Montreux Jazz Festival Japan, will also be a highly anticipated event.
