Lindsay Lohan’s third Netflix moviesThe second installment of this year’s release is now available, and the opening credits of this romantic comedy are melting our brains.
Did you know that Lindsay Lohan has a new Christmas-themed romantic comedy on Netflix? It’s true. The name of this movie is our little secret It follows Avery, played by Lindsay Lohan, who runs into her ex-boyfriend at a Christmas party with her new boyfriend’s family, and the two keep their past a secret.
But who cares? Probably not you. So please watch –Via Michael Collado on Twitter—The crazy opening credits of the new movie try to condense the past 10 years into about 90 seconds through some crazy choices.
Here are some of the events chosen by the film’s producers and creators that they felt helped to quickly illustrate the passage of a decade.
2014 – ALS Ice Bucket Challenge
2015 – Same-sex marriage becomes legal in the United States
2016 – Beyond Meat becomes popular
2018-Thailand football team cave rescue
2020 – Bernie Sanders and his viral gloves
2022 – Coronation of King Charles
you may notice rare Something missing from the opening credits. For example, while multiple Netflix shows were removed (brand synergy!), the massive pandemic that began in 2020 was not.
It’s also weird that this timeline starts with the ALS Bucket Challenge, because that feels like it happened 20 years ago and doesn’t seem like a big enough moment in history to suggest you were going to do one Slideshow “This is what happened” over the past 10 years. What does the addition of Beyond Meat mean? Or refer to the Cybertruck revelations? Is this really the same as a new king in the UK, the legalization of same-sex marriage, or the burning of Notre Dame in Paris?
But perhaps the best part of this crazy intro is that at the end, just to show that we’re about to enter 2023/2024, we get an entry on Taylor Swift’s wildly popular tour. Unless, as pointed out on Twitterthe image used in the movie is Taylor Swift During the “Fearless” tour in 2009. Ah, okay, close enough.
