when Red Dead Redemption Originally launched on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 when I was in high school. I don’t have much time to complete such a huge open world adventure. So despite spending countless hours exploring the Wild West, RDR It wasn’t until the following summer that I finally sat down and studied the whole story. What a wonderful experience!
But fourteen years later, we finally have Rockstar’s long-awaited remaster, priced at $50. Despite the cost, there’s still a strong sense of nostalgia in the community, and as of this writing, the open-world western has a “very positive” review on Steam, with thousands of community reviews. Of course, as with other game releases, you’ll encounter people who comment negatively because of the price, boycott the studio, or are upset by performance issues. Everyone’s opinion is valid, but take every comment with a grain of salt.
First, let’s start with the positive reviews. There are many of them, and out of thousands of user reviews, the vast majority are positive. Most of them rave about the game’s solid performance, and there are plenty of PC-specific graphics settings to tweak the experience. There are, of course, claims that this is one of the best stories in gaming, with some of the most memorable characters and scenes. To some extent, they are not wrong.
However, even positive reviews noted the price tag associated with the remake. Rockstar is selling it for $50, which is a lot to ask of long-time fans, especially for such an old port. In fact, the vast majority of negative reviews cite its price tag as the reason for their review.
