    Anime Art: A step-by-step anima drawing workshop will be held at the Canby Public Library on Wednesday, July 22, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. All attendees are expected to have a signed waiver on file in order to enter the Maker Lab.     Something For Teens: Teenagers will have plenty to see and do during the summer months at the Molalla Public Library.
    These “Wild Wednesday” programs will be held on Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to noon. Here’s the lineup:
    Wednesday, July 22: Mini Terrariums
    Wednesday, July 29: Summer “Rocks” Party

    Molalla Library Events: The Molalla Public Library will host a wide array of events for children and families this summer. They will be held on Thursdays from 11 a.m. to noon. Here’s the lineup:
    Thursday, July 23: Jessa Campbell and the Saplings (at Fox Park)
    Thursday, July 30: Reptile Man (at Clark Park)

    Japanese Drum Event: Enjoy traditional Japanese drumming with Entaiko Youth Drummers on Friday, July 24, from 11 a.m. to noon at the Canby Public Library. Taiko, Japanese drumming transcends all cultures and it is universal and anyone can do it. Participants from different ethnic backgrounds will work with each other to create music and learn to be open to the cultural traditions of others.

    Annual Steam-Up: The 56th Annual Great Oregon Steam-Up is set for Powerland Heritage Park in Brooks on Saturday and Sunday, July 25-26 and Aug. 1-2, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day.     Dungeons & Dragons: Stop by the Canby Public Library’s Teen Room on Saturday, July 25, from noon to 4 p.m. for a little D&D campaign. This drop-in program is open to ages 13-18.

    Korean War Event: There will be a Korean Armistice ceremony at Canby’s Vietnam Era Veterans Memorial on Monday, July 27, beginning at 11 a.m. Organizers at VFW Post 6057 invite Korean War veterans to attend the event, which will include placing a couple memorial bricks honoring Korean veterans. The ceremony will be informal and John Alfiere, memorial president, bills it as a “Meet and Greet.

    Dragon Puppet Theater: Stop by the Woodburn Public Library on Tuesday, July 28, at 2 p.m. to enjoy the Dragon Puppet Theater and its look at Johnny Appleseed. Dragon Puppet Theater brings this classic folk tale to life in a way that’s fun for the whole family.

    STEAM Camp: Canby Public Library will host STEAM Camp with Todos Juntos in the Maker Lab on Thursday, July 30, 10 to 11:45 a.m. This camp is for grades 4-6. Registration is required and can be done here https://canbypubliclibrary.libcal.com/event/16681431

    Bee Amazed: Catch the buzz and be delighted as you zoom into the wonderful world of Oregon bees on Friday, July 31, at Canby’s Wait Park from 11 a.m. to noon. Enjoy this UO Museum of Natural and Cultural History program. Discover mason bees, cuckoo bees, mining bees, bumble bees, and, of course, honey bees. Enjoy hands-on science fun and buzz-worthy activities while exploring these mighty mini-beasts of nature.

    A Little Help: Drop in to the Woodburn Public Library on Saturday, Aug. 1, from 2-4 p.m. for a drop-in tech help program. Volunteers can help with basic technology questions, using your mobile device, setting up and using email, and other tasks.

    Pop Art Camp: There will be a Pop Art Camp for teens from Aug. 3-7 (2 to 4 p.m each day) at the Woodburn Public Library. Join instructors for a week of learning and creating art with a focus on pap art. To register, call 503-982-5252.

    Community Connection: Woodburn’s Community Connection Day will be Saturday, Aug. 1, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Legion Park. The Kids Fest event will feature free backpacks, family fun, entertainment, free hot dogs, re

    National Night Out: Woodburn’s National Night out on Tuesday, Aug. 4, will once again see neighbors come together throughout the community to build connections, partnerships with law enforcement, and create safer neighborhoods.     Aurora Music Scene: Aurora Concerts in the Park returns with a nice lineup of artists, all culminating with a family show during Aurora Colony Days. Bands play Wednesday nights from 7 to 9 p.m., with the final show on Saturday, Aug. 8, from 7 to 10 p.m. Shows are at the Aurora City Park Amphitheater. Upcoming shows are – Kelsey Bales (July 22), Bootleg Ridge (July 29), 21 Turns (Aug. 8).

    Renaissance Faire: The Canterbury Renaissance Faire returns to Silverton on Saturday and Sunday, July 25-26. The faire will feature artisans, drinks, cosplay, knights battling in the arena, and much more in the Summer Market Faire.     ‘Slice’ Of Canby: The 2026 Slice of Summer concert series in Canby will once again be held at the gazebo in Wait Park in downtown. The shows will run from 6 to 8 p.m. every other Sunday. There will be food vendors at the park and attendees should bring their own chairs or blankets. Here’s who’s playing: July 26 – Bridgetown Get Down (80-90s pop covers), Aug. 9 – Cherrytree Road (country/folk), Aug. 23 – Norman Sylvester (rhythm & blues).

    Molalla Music Returns: This year’s Molalla Music in the Park series will run Tuesdays from 6 to 7 p.m. at Fox Park. Visitors are encouraged to bring blankets or chairs for the performances. This year’s entertainment will be: Timothy James (July 21), and Keenon Tichrob (July 28). These shows are free and open to the public

    Woodburn Music: The annual Music in the Park series in Woodburn will run every Tuesday evening through Aug. 11. Food and beverages open at 6 p.m., with music starting at 6:30 p.m.
    This year’s musical offerings are: July 21 – Roundhouse Band – Country & Bluegrass; July 28 – Jon Deshler’s Tune Tours – Jazz; Aug. 4 – The Boneheads – Classic Rock; and Aug. 11 – Big Plans – Blues.

    2026 Dahlia Festival: The 2026 Dahlia Festival will run Aug. 1 – Sept. 30 at Swan Island Dahlias in Canby. The festival is open Wednesday through Sunday each week and offers free admission and parking. There will be live music on weekends, classes, fresh cut flowers, the ZNA Northwest Koi Show, and more. And on top of that, nearly 50 acres of colorful fields, featuring more than 375 varieties of Dahlias.

    Let’s Celebrate:Celebrate Molalla will be held Saturday, Aug. 22, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., at Clark Park. There will be live music from Addie Rose (12:30 p.m.), NW Playboys (2:15 p.m.), and the Brady Goss Band (4:15 p.m.). The event will feature kids crafts and activities, artists, artisans, and more – more than 100 vendors, along with food trucks and a beer/wine garden.

    Fiesta Time: Woodburn’s annual Fiesta Mexicana will be held Friday-Sunday, Aug. 21-23, at Legion Park in Woodburn. The Fiesta will feature live music, food, fair rides, games and more. It is a tradition that delivers a fun-filled weekend celebrating culture, community, and tradition.

    Aurora Farmers Market: The Aurora Farmers Market has returned to downtown Aurora on Main and Second Street. The market runs the first and third Saturday of each month through September from 4 to 8 p.m. The market will feature local products, baked goods and crafts and more.     Canby Farmers Market: The Canby Farmers Market will be held Saturdays through October in downtown Canby on North Holly Street. Local farmers, hand crafters, food artisans and nurseries are all a part of this regional attraction. The market runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

    Molalla Farmers Market: Molalla’s Farmers Market will run through Sept. 24 every Thursday from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Molalla Brewing Company at 180 Industrial Way in Molalla. The market will feature local fruit, vegetables, plant starts, meat, wine, soaps, and much more. Food carts are also on site.
