Dodgers vs. Diamondbacks: The matchup
The Dodgers are solid betting favorites (-219) to avoid a sweep and close out the first half of their season. Los Angeles will start 26-year-old right-hander Emmet Sheehan (4-6, 4.91 ERA), who is working off back-to-back starts where he has surrendered just one run. Set to start for the Diamondbacks is Mitch Bratt (0-0, 3.00 ERA), a 23-year-old lefty who gave up one run on two hits in three innings in a short three-inning start in his Major League debut on June 24
