Carín León‘s show at the Sphere in Las Vegas on Thursday (September 10) was canceled at the very last second, forcing fans to go home without seeing a show.
The 37-year-old Mexican singer-songwriter became the first Latin artist to perform at the Sphere when he kicked off his residency there last week.
Carin performed three shows at the Sphere last weekend and was set to perform four more shows at the venue from September 10 through 13. While fans were sitting in their seats on Thursday night, with the theater nearly at capacity, an announcement on the sound system revealed that the show was not happening that evening.

Below is the message that was heard over the sound system inside the Sphere:
Due to an unexpected issue during transportation and with the safety of the artist and their artist as our top priority, tonight’s show at Sphere will be rescheduled. Tickets will be valid for the new date, September 15, 2027. Those unable to attend may request a refund from the original point of purchase within 30 days. We sincerely apologize and thank you for your understanding, patience, and support.
Fans are assuming that Carin had never arrived at the venue and people are speculating about what the “transportation” issue could possibly be.
Concertgoers are able to use their tickets to attend a postponed performance on September 15, 2027, more than a year away. Of course, thousands of fans likely flew to Las Vegas and spent tons of hard-earned money on flights, hotels, meals, and other things during their trips. These are often once-in-a-lifetime trips for fans, who might not be able to make a return trip next year. Many are rightfully upset over the situation.
Carin‘s 2027 Sphere dates were just announced hours ago, with three shows originally set for September 2027. He was originally supposed to perform September 16, 17, and 18, but now he will also do a show on the 15th.
