The Creators Academy invites 13- to 17-year-olds to design a Roblox game in Paris. A guided introduction, with discussions about digital habits for parents.

Going from player to creator: that’s the idea behind Creators Academy – Paris, an introduction to game design organized by Lynx Educate and Roblox. Guided by School of Gaming instructors, participants discover Roblox Studio, the software that lets them build and share experiences on the platform.

The workshop follows the steps of a small project: choosing a setting and visual identity, building a level, modifying the obstacles, then testing and refining the result. The stated goal is to create your own experience. Beginners are guided step by step, with no prior development experience required.

Creating a game and discussing digital habits

The facilitators will guide the young people through the hands-on activities and experiments that shape the game. Roblox AI Assistant is also one of the tools available during the session. The program thus combines building, experimentation and feedback on what works in a game level.

A space dedicated to parents complements the workshops. Discussions focus on teenagers’ digital habits and the parental control tools available on Roblox. This role for adults also makes it possible to discuss how the platform is used, beyond game creation.

The Paris event kicks off a series of introductory sessions planned for 2026–2027, with more sessions to follow across France and online. This first event focuses on creating with guidance, with facilitators on hand to help participants.
