Fortnite Treasure Hunt: map, One Piece skins, weapons… what’s new in the mini-season

Time to set sail! Epic Games is launching Treasure Hunters (Treasure Hunters), a mini-season focused on hunting for loot with characters from One Piece on the Fortnite Battle Royale island, running from November 1 to December 4, 2026. A trailer combining live-action footage with in-game visuals showcases what’s new. Epic Games has now detailed what this adventure has in store in its official announcement.

A new pirate-themed map

The first change concerns the map. The trailer reveals a skull-shaped island, accompanied by chests and nautical references. This setting draws on the pirate motifs that define the season’s theme.

The map, dubbed Bone Mêlée Island, brings together 80 players. It features Arlong Park, Foosha Village and the battleship $.$. Rocky. The cannons can also be used to get around.

Ace and Nico Robin in the Battle Pass

The Battle Pass includes Portgas D. Ace, Nico Robin, Jonesy, Snuggle Specialist and Charlotte, with the last three in an anime style. Gifting the pass grants both players the Dark Kawaii Specialist style.

The price, the details of the reward tiers and the full breakdown of rewards have yet to be announced. Luffy and Zoro, meanwhile, are set to be available in the shop.

One Piece, Hatsune Miku and A$AP Rocky: the outfit schedule

When it comes to skins, One Piece plays a major role this season. Several members of the Straw Hat crew, created by Eiichiro Oda, are part of this new adventure. American rapper A$AP Rocky, Hatsune Miku in a pirate outfit and Kasane Teto are also on the roster.

This schedule was provided by Epic Games; prices for these various outfits have yet to be confirmed.

Pirate weapons and powers inspired by One Piece

The equipment shown also follows the season’s theme. The trailer notably features weapons with an antique design and Usopp’s slingshot.

Epic confirms the Gum-Gum Fruit, Zoro’s three swords and A$AP Rocky’s shockwave rocket. The details of how these items work in a match remain to be seen, particularly their damage and any usage limits.

Captain’s Days During the Season

Captain’s Days introduce weapons and spirits: November 1 at 3 p.m. (Paris time), then November 7, 12, 14 and 21. Other weekly events add captain’s weapons early in the game and more frequent loot.

A chapter-ending event on December 5

A Chapter 7 finale event is scheduled for December 5, 2026. While we wait to find out what’s in store, one last question: what if you were the king of the pirates?
