Before attending the kirtan, Anushka and Virat were spotted arriving from Alibaug at the Gateway of India. The couple later made their way to the musical gathering, spending the evening together.
This is not the first time Anushka and Virat have attended a spiritual gathering together. In July 2026, the couple also visited Union Chapel in London for a service.
The Mumbai event was part of Krishna Das’ India tour. The American singer is widely known for bringing traditional Indian devotional chants to audiences around the world by blending them with Western musical influences. Kirtan, a devotional practice centred on singing sacred songs and repeating spiritual names, forms the core of his musical performances.
Anushka and Virat have often spoken through their actions about their inclination towards spirituality. The couple have visited Premanand Ji Maharaj to seek his blessings and are also known for their reverence for the teachings associated with Neem Karoli Baba.
