PlayStation Store is offering a limited-time discount on a popular PS4 and PS5 horror game. Dead by Daylight from Starbreeze Publishing AB, which features blood and gore, intense violence, and strong language, is currently being offered for sale at slashed prices.
According to the official PlayStation Store, players can save 60% on the Standard Edition, reducing its price from $29.99 to $11.99. The offer is scheduled to end on November 5, 2026.
The purchase includes both the PS4 and PS5 digital versions of the asymmetrical 1v4 multiplayer game. Alternatively, PlayStation Plus Extra subscribers can access the game through the Game Catalog.
The PlayStation Store is also discounting other editions of Dead by Daylight. The Jason Edition for PS4 and PS5 is listed at $15.74, a 50% discount from its regular price of $31.49. The 10th Anniversary Edition, normally priced at $49.99, is another option. It is listed at $29.99, a 40% discount from its regular price.
On PS5, Dead by Daylight offers an asymmetrical 1v4 multiplayer horror experience. One player controls a bloodthirsty Killer in first person, while four Survivors play in third person, working together to repair generators and escape.
Players can take on the role of a Killer and hunt, capture, and sacrifice Survivors, or play as a Survivor and use stealth, teamwork, and quick reflexes to evade the threat. The game offers enhanced performance, smoother visuals, tense fog-covered atmospheres, and cross-play capabilities.
The standard game includes 7 Killers, like The Trapper, The Wraith, and The Nurse, and 9 Survivors, including Meg Thomas and Claudette Morel. Then there are the other iconic licensed guest characters, like Michael Myers and Ghost Face. Characters have progression systems, perks, and cosmetic options that let players customize their approach.
Dead by Daylight is available for PS4 and PS5 through the official PlayStation Store.
