German Twitch streamer Adam Wolke, better known as SkylineTV, has died at the age of 36 after suffering a severe brain haemorrhage caused by a ruptured aneurysm.
The news was announced on October 20 by fellow streamer and close friend Jens ‘Knossi’ Knossalla, who shared an emotional statement alongside Verena Ullrich.
Wolke was a prominent figure in the German streaming community, having built a following of over 265,000 on Twitch and more than 115,000 on Instagram.
“It is with deep sadness that we have to tell you that our Adam has sadly passed away,” Knossalla and Ullrich wrote in a joint Instagram statement, translated from German.
“He suffered a severe brain haemorrhage as a result of a ruptured brain aneurysm. We were by his side until the very end and accompanied him on his final journey.”
The pair added that they were devastated by his death and struggling to put their feelings into words.
They also asked fans to respect the privacy of Wolke’s family, loved ones, and closest friends during the difficult time.
SkylineTV revealed symptoms in final Twitch broadcast
Wolke was considered one of the pioneers of IRL streaming in Germany, having broadcast his real-world adventures as early as 2013.
Through his SkylineTV Live channel, he took viewers on trips and outings while also using his technical expertise to help produce major streams for creators including MontanaBlack, Trymacs, and Knossi.
He also won the Knossi edition of Big Brother in 2024, further cementing his popularity within the German streaming scene.
In his last stream before his death, Wolke described experiencing unusual symptoms, including black spots in his vision and feeling intoxicated despite not consuming alcohol.
“I’d say it was a painless migraine because I had these black spots in my vision,” he explained, translated from German. “I was looking around and could still see things, but there were these spots everywhere. It was really strange.”
